Went to the fair on Tuesday night, went on the Midnight Express, Twister, Bumper Cars and The Ghost Train.
I actually really enjoyed it and the value was really good - most shocking for a fair! Only problem is I woke up on Wednesday and my neck is killing me, I think from the Bumper Cars, which, due to my long legs, have also given me bruised knees....
Now it's Thursday and my neck is still killing me, I thought it was the way I slept but I've come to realise the Bumper Cars are a much more probable cause....
Work is really busy as I'm the only one in my department, Angela has come back which is good and I think the call centre need anyone they can get.
I have tomorrow off though...... can't think why.....

Humming Robbie |

Went out on Saturday night in JR's, didn't dance very much so didn't work of the alcohol - result - vomitting the next day. It was bile and thick, looked like egg yolk, which make me feel even sicker. My fault I guess, anyway, learn from your mistakes.
So Sunday, very tired, felt ill, went round my Mums and chilled out on the sofa.
Monday, back at work, 4 day week ahead of me... Going round my Mum's after work to have the Sunday Roast that wasn't cooked yesterday and then going to the fair with Chris, Andrew and Mel. Should be funny.... I hope Mel goes on the Playstation! hahaha.
4 days to Robbie!

I just felt I had to add this as I was shocked....
Wednesday evening after work I decided to go to my Mum's to study and I walked past ABC and decided to cut through round the back of the Nemonthron (where you can see them hanging up their Gupter Pants on the washing line)... Now this is also the back of Oxfam and I was so shocked, my jaw may have actually dropped as I saw an old man, routing through the bins of Oxfam, picking discarded books even Oxfam didn't want! How low can you get!

Wednesday night I tried my best to study for the Theory test the following day, tried memorising the stopping distances, reading the test questions... however I felt so sick I felt like I just had to go to bed.... I was worried but I thought I'd have a better chance of trying to get a good nights sleep and doing the test then staying up and getting iller. I did however went to get my Paper Licence part (which you need on the day) which wasn't where I thought it was.... Uh oh.... It was in the second place I looked (THANK GOD!) and in searching for it I found 2 Highway Codes, another Theory test book and a book on the Practical test!
Thursday morning I woke up.... at 2.30am in a cold sweat, with a nose bleed and horrible headache. I took some ibuprofen and then 20 minutes later I threw up. Not a good sign. Tried my best to get some more sleep but at 6am I woke up and could get back to sleep. I went round my Mum's at 9.30am and did the practice Hazard Perception test... I passed but not my very much so was really, really worried. Read my books again, made sure I knew the stopping distances...
Got to the test centre a 10 minutes prior instead of 15 but it was ok. I was really nervous, my breathing was all over the place it was ridiculous. Put my stuff in the locker and waited to be show to my computer. Now I know this sounds silly but I kind of calmed down a little bit when I was told to sit at Computer 12 (12 being my lucky number given my birthday is 12/12/81)... anyway, my hands were still a little bit jittery but tried my best to just click through everything to get to the question part. Halfway through the questions I was feeling a lot better, I remembered how piss easy it was! lol! There were a couple of questions I had a little trouble with but as soon as I'd answered all 35 I just knew I'd passed that bit.
The Hazard Perception part though was a different story.... I was bricking it, my breathing went funny again, I just tried my best to calm down. Clicked when I thought I saw anything! I didn't know if I'd done enough and I was really worried. I walked out the room, got my stuff form the locker... there was some foreign woman in front of me, who then went back to her locker so I was at the front... The bloke got the print outs and looked at me and got the top print out which I could see didn't have a certificate as he folded it... However he put it to one side as it must have been the woman before me (I would have felt a bit sorry for her but I was too concerned about myself at this point! I'm not usually selfish but I think I was entitled to be!!!). He then got the second one which I saw had a certificate and was obviously mine, I must of smiled cause he asked me why I thought I'd passed and just said I could see the certificate! He said that it might not be mine... but then handed it too me!
As soon as I realised I'd passed, I realised how ill I was and I felt pretty rough! So I met my Mum and my Brother and we pretty much went home straight away (via Asda to look at Colleen's new range!). I then relaxed at home and in the evening went to Angela's and watched Ricky Gervais DVD, nothing to exhausting!
This morning I'm feeling a bit better but my nose was bleeding pretty profusely earlier (almost to the point of drippage), anyway have A LOT of work to do, so best get back to it...!

Well today I feel a bit happier, although I woke up at 6am with the worst headache I've had for ages, it literally felt like someone had put a weight on my head... so painful. Team this up with sore throat and a sniff and all in all feel pretty rubbish to be honest with you. Really feel like I want to go to sleep right now.
However I can't because I'm at work and I feel they may say something if I did that! Also have loads of studding ahead of me this evening for my theory tomorrow. Really worried about it. Not so much the theory part as I did it before and got full marks, but the Hazard Perception thing is really worrying me, did a practice one and only got 1 mark more than I needed to pass... All I can do is try my best but I hate failing stuff... Also I was going with Sarah, who has tonsillitis so can't come, I'm all on my todd.
Had some good news though as my friend is coming back to work on Tuesday!
Loads of work to do so I'll go now. But before I do, thanks Chris for sending me a text message at 2.05am.....

Someone at work, who I do a favour for by answering the email of their account, has deemed it perfectly reasonable to email me in a tone that I would use if I was speaking to a) a child or b) a shit I just trod in. I think they believe me to be both. Which obviously I find incredibly insulting. I'm not paid extra for this favour, nor do I get any thanks for it by this person. So why the hell should I bother to do it. I really feel like walking out! However, I has passed my comments on to my manager who hopefully will be dealing with it, as she agrees!
Also, I've found out that my sister is going to Australia with my Dad and his wife. I wouldn't have a problem with this as I may not be his biggest fan, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if she wants to spend time with him then that's fine. The only thing I'm upset about is that she is going on 16th December 2006 - 2nd January 2007. So for the first time EVER I won't be spending Christmas Day with her. At least she will be here for my Birthday.... It just makes me feel a bit sad as she's a good cook! Only joking, all jokes a side it does upset me, not because she's spending Christmas Day with him but just that I'm not spending it with her, if that makes sense. I guess it was going to happen sooner or later, when we wouldn't spend Christmas together, I just thought it would be later rather than sooner. Making me feel as if time is slipping away a bit, I'm going to be 25 in three months and just feel like my life is happening without me....

Robbie Williams - Rudebox |
] |
Well I've had today off as needed to go to the hospital... don't worry fans, it was just a dieticians appointment, it all turned out ok, still need to have the tablets though, which to be fair isn't that nice as it's not nice to think you have to pop pills just for your body to work but nothing I can do about it.

Then had a relaxing day. Went into town to be the first to purchase Robbie's new single Rudebox (Both CDs of course - no DVD this time, the video is on the enhahanced CD) The song has the line "I love it when you double clap clap" - Maybe people will stop asking me what the title of my LJ means now! So anyway, I am now the proud owner of 5 verions of Rudebox and song called Lonestar Rising! Not long til I go and see him! Woo Hoo! Hope Rudebox gets to No 1, will be hard though thanks to the Scissor Sister's I Don't Feel Like Dancing, which to be fair I do really like, but didn't buy just so Robbie has a better chance - how sad! Anything to help the cheeky chappy! Not long till the album comes out now! Although I've lost track of what it's called, it was 1974, then Rudebox 74, now apparently just Rudebox.... lets face it, it could be called Camel Pre-Cum - I'd still buy it!
Hopefully be going out with friends tonight and continue the war on GG - SFB. If you know me, you know what I'm talking about! lol
Back to work tomorrow - got Thursday off though for my Theroy Test so lots of studying ahead....
Hopefully going out on Friday night (have to work again Saturday though :-( ) Not going back to Flaunt again for a long time, we feel it's getting to young for us, or we're getting to old (depends how you look at it I suppose!) I feel the end of Flaunt was confirmed on Friday though as it was the first time, since I started going when I was 18 (so nearly 7 years) that I, wait for it.................. didn't poledance. Like the ravens leaving the tower of London, I never thought it would happen.... but it did. Everyone should be wearing black armbands next time we go out.............

Well Thursday Night, went to Deniros with a load of work people for cherry_vision's leaving do... very sad to see her go actually, I'm sure we'll say in touch though. Although it was mainly work people, my good gay friend raziel79 came along to at the last minute which was great! Music was good, then bad, then good. Pole danced for the fans too! Also big up s32bauerwho came and collected us! He even let me in the car with my hot dog with onions on it which was lush (sorry Chris, I like cooked onions! If fact I wasn't really bothered about the hot dog, it was the onions that really did it for me!!!! lol!) When I go it, had a wash which I was really pleased I did following the morning and I woke NOT smelling of smoke.
Friday, work was hard as only one in my department and was really rushed off my feet. It was a pretty rubbish week work wise, didn't get early leaving once all week :-( Anyway, mel_cherry made it in, even though she only came out of the bathroom at 8.35! She was actually still drunk when she came in.... I went to Waitrose before work to find I left my purse at home.... most awkward at the checkout! Friday night I went out in Stortford with Laura and Angela (who came back from Tenerife on Wednesday!) it was a good night and almost as if she's never been away! Also Ange's sister, Laura's sister, Alan and Ange's friend Claire came to. Nice for everyone to be together. However Claire did tred on my foot and it killed.... I now know why as I have a large painful bruise on my foot! Also we had to pay £5 to get into Flaunt as Grace, Nikki, Imogen, Spiral and Mikey from Big Brother were going to be there.... and as they didn't turn up until 1.00 and I had to leave at 12.35 to get the last train home, I didn't even get to see them! Cheers Flaunt! I didn't have any eggs on me anyway though.... Got home and had a wash (I can see a pattern here!), I actually got in before Mel!
Saturday had to work and I actually did! Tried my hardest to try and catch up but didn't have much luck! I'm not in Monday (tomorrow) as have appointment at Addenbrookes so hopefully Jon and Shirley will be ok.
Saturday night.... went to see Little Man.... ha ha ha. Was not laughing with it.... and sometimes I was angry at the IDIOTS. If I'd paid for it I would be pissed off, but as it was I was able to laugh at a bad movie! Click here for my dear friend's accurate review!
Today, I think I might be ill as feel ill.... Ok, I must be ill to write that! Anyway, drove my Mum to Tesco and fell asleep on the sofa and I never sleep during the day unless I'm ill or hungover... and I'm not hungover... I'm sure it's nothing though!

Well I thought I'd fill you in on what I got up to on my week off doing nothing!!!
Saturday 19th - went to see Snakes On A Plane and loved it! Was scared and screamed out loud... starting to think I am a wuss!
Sunday 20th - went round my Mums and chilled out, Sunday Roast - yummy!
Monday 21st - Little lay in, watched Jeremy Kyle, went to my Mums and then in the evening went to see John Tucker Must Die, which was what I expected it to be really, average.
Tuesday 22nd - Again lie in, Jeremy Kyle and went to my Mums. Nothing exciting but that's fine!
Wednesday 23rd - Jeremy Kyle, then went to Stortford and hung out with Laura Whorea for the day, played the Desperate Housewives Boardgame which was a crock of shite, then ended up just kipping over hers as was going shopping the next day anyway!
Thursday 24th - Tried to get Laura to watch Jeremy Kyle but she wasn't having any of it. Went shopping in Cambridge with Laura and Sally, although all I bought were some Playboy PJs from TK Max! In the evening was supposed to go to Office Summer Party BBQ in Ashdon but it was cancelled due to the rain, went for a quick drink in the Tem but was knackered so went home to bed quite early.
Friday 25th - Woke up a bit late so missed a bit of Jeremy :-(, hung out round my Mums again. Had to deal with my brother being really rude and disrespectful to my Mum, swearing and throwing things that nearly hit her, when literally all she is trying to do is help him, even although she is so ill right now she may need an operation. He felt it was also her fault she didn't know the way to the college he wanted to go to the open day of. He then took this attitude into the afternoon and decided he wasn't going on the family holiday him, my Mum and sister where going on, five minutes before they were leaving. Many arguments and tears from me and my sister finally resulted in him going. I actually spoke to my Dad about him as I think his attitude has got to a point where it has to stop. Quite stressed.... After they left, did a bit of housework for my Mum though as she hasn't really been well enough to keep on top of it though. In the evening went to see Me, You and Dupree which was piss poor if you ask me and it didn't help that the screen was really blurry, I had to ask Chris if the screen was blurry for him as I was worried it was my eyes!
Saturday 26th - Went round my Mums as Monty had been left with me and I had to look after him! Did loads more housework, including throwing everything out of date out of the fridge! Was pretty knackered. Then in the evening Alan, Laura and Sally came round, I cooked Toad In The Hole and we went out in Cambridge. Don't know how I managed not to die as I had 7 shots of Apple Sours, 1 shot of Vodka and god knows how much Vodka and coke, I was swaying around but they may also have been down to my feet killing me. Was really funning night though and good to go out somewhere different. Low point of the night was when in the queue to the club an idiot in front was making really awful comment about gay people, about how they want special treatment, all 4 of us were getting quite cross. I couldn't take anymore and had to say something, basically told him that if that was his opinion, that's his opinion but he was offending me and my friends so it would be appreciated if he could stop. I got a lot of lip back and then Laura and Alan joined in. I tried to keep calm and actually did a pretty good job, obviously all that customer service training! Laura though was so so offended she actually went to hit him, I managed to stop her though as, as much as I would have love to see him taught a lesson, that wasn't the way to go about it. The bouncer intervened and we explained everything and the bouncer made the idiot apologise to Laura! Luckily they got into the club and we and to wait a bit longer, which was a good thing as it meant we didn't have to deal with anything! I then lightened the mood by saying some filthy innuendo about something else and making everyone laugh including the bouncer, who then I remember called me 'Flaps'.... I can't remember what I said but judging by thing, it must have been rude! Was a good night though as you can see here and here!
Sunday 27th - Very tired! Had McDonalds Breakfast and slept most of the day... Monty woke me up as he needed the loo bless him! The both of us napped on the sofa! In the evening Chris, Andrew and Mel came round and we confirmed the details for our trip the next day....
Monday 28th - Got up at 5.30am! Let Monty out and in. Went home to change and then Chris, Andrew, Mel and Myself went to Thorpe Park! It was brilliant! Although the park didn't open until 9.30 and we got there at about 8.45! We headed straight to Stealth to discover it wasn't open yet... so headed for the Tea Cups! We then all went on Nemesis Inferno AKA Dangle feet (!), which was wicked! I was really impressed with Andrew for dealing with it and then admitting that he liked it!!! The rapids were cool too and got a bit wet.... However the Tidal Wave got me as wet as Jordan at a Chippendales Show, even though I was prepared. I was literally ringing out my top! Took me soooo long to dry off. X:\ was cool too although I screamed in the queue as some creepy noise went off! At least they all laughed! Went on soooo many rides... don't think I can remember them all now! Andrew and I went on the Rocky Express which although for Kids was fun! Stealth was bloody amazing when it opened!!! And Colossus was fantastic with the corkscrew bit... (Sorry, I know you hated that bit Andrew, but I loved it). We also went on Miss Hippos Fungle Safari where we played a kind of make shift shooting game... Chris managed to hit a Bear right on the chest....! One of the cutest things I've ever ever seen are 1 day old piglets at the farm... although the mum was a ugly trot! Was sooo tired on the way home, rested my eyes a lot! And when I got in Monty hadn't made any mess - how good!
Tuesday 29th - Went back to work... Although I am covered in brusies and even now in a lot of pain! I think it might have been a ride called the Slammer... but to be fair it could have been a combination of everything! Went for a curry, a bargain as got Chicken Tikka Starter, Chicken Tikka Massala, Sag Aloo, Rice and Peshwari Nann for £9.95! Tasted lush and was good to hang out with Lou has hadn't see her for a while. Then in the evening saw a DVD with Chris, Andrew and Mel called Mistress Of Spices which can be summed up in two words... Random and Rubbish!
Now it's Wednesday but because of the Bank Holiday I feel like it's Tuesday, I've just had a text from Angela who has come back from Tenerife this morning! Going out with her on Friday, I'm so excited to see her back in the local haunts! lol Got loads of work to do and I'm freezing as accounts have their air con blowing on me! It's FREEZING!
Going to Denerios tomorrow to say Goodbye to Mindy, it's going to be weird without her in the office but I'm sure she's going to have loads of fun on her course.
So, that's my LJ up to date, and if you're still reading this, congratulations! You've just read 1,400 words now!

BIG UP SINGLE MUMS!
Watching X-Factor tonight and also going to see Snakes On A Plane!!!
I'm now off work until 29th August!!! How good is that! Jealous!!!
I found this picture of a jumper my Mum made for me! I'm about 8 in this picture, you can also see how blonde my hair was! Now this jumper isn't a normal jumper, it's a Cheetara Jumper! So when I wore it I looked like my then idol Cheetara from the Thundercats. I LOVED IT! I thought it would be funny to share the memory so ( check it out! )

Well I'm currently awaiting a call back from Marina at Network Recruitment - apparently they've found a job that might be good for me! I gave up looking for something while I was so ill with my ear/tooth but hopefully this will help me get started again!
Also I'm going to try and book my Theroy Test today with Miss Bond. I did pass it before and got full marks, but they only last for 3 years so now it's expired.... Oh well, hopefully it'll be ok. The only thing I'm concerned about is the Hazard Perception thing cause I have no idea what it's like... apparently isn't not too bad although you can fail if you're too slow or too fast... :-( We shall see!
Also, Chris, Andrew and I started the_film_club, check it out!

Happy Birthday to the Material Girl Madonna who is 48 today!!!
I remember back on Christmas Day 1989 when I went through my stocking and I had the Like A Prayer album on tape. (Father Christmas must have gone against my Mum's wishes as she wasn't impressed with the whole Jesus thing as I seem to remember) I was only 8 and I thought she was one of the coolest things alive... and now I'm 24 I still do!!! Only difference now is I bought the album on CD and I love it even more! I still remember walking around my house listening to it on my Walkman (It was an actual Walkman with FFW and RWD!) and the foam earphones singing to myself. I totally loved it!

Well Friday, I had the day off work, so got the bus to Stortford as we, Laura, Sally and I were going to Liquid in.... Harlow. Now I've never been out in Harlow and I will never again because it was as rough as old boots and the way we were treated there was apalling. We only went because Laura was sent free tickets saying, come along spend your birthday with us, get free champagne, access to VIP blah blah blah. Everything we should have got we had to fight for, when we tried to wait to speak to the manager we were told to move along by the bouncers and not in a nice way at all. I just felt sorry for Laura as she was getting stressed because I think she felt it was her fault as she had invited us and felt bad for us.... obviously I didn't mind at all! I had a good night cause I was with my friends and that, to me is all that matters, not all the VIP stuff (The VIP bit was rubbish anyway, you had to leave it to go to the loo!!! Not very VIP!) Ended up on the Liquid website too... oh dear!
Saturday, was very very tired, slept a lot, then in the evening went to Chillis and the cinema with Chris and Andrew. Chillis was yummy, funny thing was when the waitress bought my side order of mushrooms over, they slipped out of her hand and fell onto me, my clothes and the table... They were so apologetic though, the service was really good and we tipped her nearly £5! Saw Nacho Libre, which was ok, made me laugh a lot, I think it's a film you have to be in the mood for.
Sunday, went round my Mum's and chilled out there, did what I usually do, watched South Park with my brother and had a yummy Sunday lunch.
Monday, had the day off work again so I could drive my Mum to hospital, the news wasn't great, but could have been a lot worse. She was glad I was there though. Got in lots of driving time which was good, just wish the circumstances were different.
So anyway, now I'm back at work and looking forward to going to the cinema again tonight to see Monster House! I only have to work: today, tomorrow, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and then I'm off until 29th August! I THINK I CAN MAKE IT! lol

I've been given the letter F to come up with 5 songs beginning with that letter and why! Wasn't actually that difficult to think of 5 songs seeing as my brain is a human jukebox, however I may have forgotten a favourite of mine given that there are soooo many songs in the world! Plus with F I had so many to choose from like Forever Love by Gary Barlow... lol! Sadly that didn't make the list!
So......
F
Fastlove - George Michael I remember watching the video on Top Of Pops when George was straight and we just thought he was a good dancer in that shower! "My friends got their ladies, they're all having babies, but I just wanna have some fun!" Yeah now we know why George!!!!
Friday I'm In Love - The Cure I'm not really a Cure fan but I do like this song, it's upbeat and a song I've liked for a long time (when I was young and didn't know what it was but knew I liked it!)
Fake Tales Of San Francisco - Arctic Monkeys I love the Monkeys, the lyrics are so clever and original. "And all the weekend rock stars are in the toilets practicing their lines..." and the one that always cracks me.... "Oh you save me, she screams down the line, The Band were fucking wank and I'm not having a nice time!" Anyone who as not listened to Whatever People Say I am, That's What I'm Not, I strongly urge you to, one of the best albums I own.
From Paris To Berlin - Infernal A Cheesy dance song which I didn't like to start with but now it makes me sing along and dance, although still helps if I'm drunk when I listen to it. Plus is anyone has seen the video, the weird milk thing going on is very strange....!
Feel - Robbie Williams One of my favourite Robbie tracks, although I find the lyrics moving, also the music itself. Reminds me of when I visited my sister at Uni as it was always playing on the radio. There aren't very many songs that I have cried too but this is one (although I was probably a bit emotional at the time anyway lol) "There's a hole in my soul, you can see it in my face, it's a real big place" plus I want to feel real love too... :-(

Went driving last night as was unable to go on Sunday due to being ill... unsure if I was ill or hungover, perhaps a bit of both if I'm honest, although I really didn't drink that much, however I did mix my drinks (Wine and Vodka) which is not something I usually do...
Anyway, Driving, has lots of fun driving up to Four Wentways Roundabout and back again, although I forgot how many e-dicks there are on the roads...! Just got off the slip road and a knobscoffer overtook me just to cut across to the exit which is literally just after people join from the slip road (so many the road could have been designed better) but all he had to do was wait, I wasn't going slow!!!!
Drove to Tesco and bought Now 64 (to continue the collection - I have every Now since 26!) and Lily Allen's Alright Still, which I've started to listen to and it's so original and refreshing... don't get me wrong, I LOVE a bit of Girls to the A (!) but something a bit different for a different mood is a good thing!

I've finally perfected my new banner, hope you like it!
It basically has a few random things, all of which come together to make me! Although obviously I couldn't fit everything on there!!! I'd be forever collecting pictures and trying to fit them on! lol
Let me know what you think!
:-)
